History & Staff
We have years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity.
The idea of Grasso Family Funeral, Memorial, and Cremation began with a young man's dream. Pete Grasso, Sr., received his Funeral Director's License in 1949 in the Great State of West Virginia. From that day forward he moved towards being able to serve families in his community. "My dad's dream never stopped," says Pete Grasso, Jr., a second generation Funeral Director, Green Burial and Cremation Specialist. "The very first thing I remember as a child growing up in and around the funeral home was that you treat every family as if they were your own." The dream of 65 years has become a reality, and all of the ideas, traditions, and beliefs are now carried on as our father's legacy. The funeral service has changed over the years as people's perspectives have changed; we believe and honor those changes. It isn't about us, it is about the families we serve. You are in control.
