Steven Roy Izor, 65, of St. Petersburg, Florida, March 11, 1954- October 2, 2019. Steven is survived by his 5 children Heidi Izor, Jason Izor, Jesse Izor, William Izor, Autumn Izor-Sims. He also had 6 grandchildren, Lilliana Izor, Allyson Izor, Isabelle Izor, Jayden Sims, Mahlia Sims and Angelina Izor. His siblings include; Edward, Tom, Katie, Marilyn, Linda, Brad, Bonnie and Jack. Steven graduated from St. Petersburg High School, class of 72’ and was a veteran of The United States Air Force. His civilian career was a print operator at the St. Petersburg Times. Steven loved the blues, played the harmonica and would join many bands at any opportunity he could get. Because of his love of music and art, he had many, many friends. Steven was a very talented artist, inspired by Salvador Dali. He was known for creating the Tornado Lady. He spent many years playing golf with his brothers and his sons. He loved the outdoors, from planting trees, camping, fishing, canoeing and admiring thunderstorms. Steven was known for his jokes and sense of humor. He can turn anyone’s bad day around. He was there for anybody and everybody that needed his help in any manner. He is the kind of man that would give his shirt off his back. Stevens favorite quote was from Paul Butterfields band “BETTER DAYS”, which he aspired to live by and instill in others around him. Dad, thank you for being the best father any child could ever dream of. You taught us all so many necessary things of life, love, and compassion. These are attributes that we can all pass to our children. Dad, we thank you so very much for the art of sarcasm. We thank you for the many wonderful memories you left for us to carry and share with our children and others. -The Izor Kids
