Margaret Allison Bennett

October 6, 1928 - February 1, 2015

BENNETT, Margaret Allison (Duckworth), 86, of Seminole, went to be with the Lord on February 1, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Bennett. She is survived by her two children, Marc (Terry)Voisard, and Odette Voisard , two grand-children, Catherine and Daniel Voisard, a brother, George Duckworth, nephew-in-law, Ray English and close friend, LaVera Blanco. Margaret was born in Blackburn, Lancashire, England on October 6, 1928 to Frederick and Alice Duckworth. As a young women in Great Britain she worked as a newspaper reporter. After emigrating to Canada in 1952 she became the advisor to pre-med students at Mcgill University in Montreal. She moved to the US in 1974 becoming a US citizen in 1981. Bob and Margaret, married in 1976, served the Lord together in Texas, Israel, and Florida. In her later years, Margaret was a Bible teacher and active member of Seminole Christian Fellowship. She enjoyed oil painting, reading and the beach. Her life will be celebrated February 28 at 11 AM at Seminole Christian Fellowship, 10202-131st St. N, Seminole. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Seminole Christian Fellowship or Suncoast Hospice
