David Paul Lynd Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

David Paul Lynd, age 60, of Seminole, FL died 12/06/2021 at the Largo Medical Center following a peaceful death surrounded by his family. On 05/07/1961, he was born in Abington, PA, the son of the late Harry and Charlotte Lynd. On 10/15/2016, he married Susan Greenleaf in Indian Rocks Beach, FL. Together they shared 22 years together. Survivors include: daughters Shannon and Erica Lynd, step-daughters Danielle, Stephanie, and Andrea Greenleaf, step-grandson Nathan Damico, siblings Harry and Debbie Lynd, Joseph and Teresa Lynd, Edward and Jane Klodnicki, Thomas and Cindy Lynd, and Jerry Lynd. He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Charlotte Lynd, and his brother Don Lynd. David resided in Seminole, FL. He loved to cook (his famous meatballs), and also loved cooking breakfast every Sunday for the family. He was a homebody enjoying quiet nights listening to music and dancing, his nickname was "boogie". He loved watching "sports" especially football. Go Bucs! Dave was a 1998 USF graduate with a Business Administration degree. He worked as a mechanical engineer, and became a Product Development Manager at Garden Light LED Co. Dave enjoyed family time and gathering with all five daughters and especially having a grandson in the mix. Dave had a sense of humor that lit up the room. He was a great father, always there to give a helping hand with homework, job resumes, and fixing car problems. Though he was only on earth for too short of time, he will be remembered by friends and family forever. He was so proud of his two daughters Shannon a USF graduate, and Erica a FSU graduate. Funeral will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church, 11565 66th Ave N. Seminole, FL 33772, January 28th at 11am.
