Barbara Ann (Kochen) Drysdale Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Drysdale, Barbara Ann (Kochen), 74, of Tarpon Springs, FL, entered into eternal rest peacefully July 1, 2022 surrounded by family. She was born in Plainfield, NJ on March 18, 1948. Later, her family moved to Toms River, NJ, where she was a graduate of Toms River North High School. In 1979 she moved with her own family to St. Petersburg, FL. She had a long and distinguished career in retail, retiring from Target (Largo, FL) in 2017. She had one passion in life, her family. She was never happier than when surrounded by those she loved. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Marie Kochen; and her brother Thomas Kochen. She is survived by her husband, Jim Drysdale of Tarpon Springs, FL; her children, Robert Colwell (Diana), Kimberly Walter (Danny), Pamela Marland (Mark), Daniel Colwell, and Matthew Chatterton; her brothers James Kochen and Peter Kochen; her sister Joan Schleich; her grandchildren Stephanie, Steven, Robbie, Megan (Turner), Megan (Colwell), Pami, and Ethan; and great-grandchildren Viviana, Grayson, and Gigiada. A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Mary Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 515 4th St. South, St. Petersburg, FL, on July 23, 10 a.m. A reception will follow. Flowers are appreciated or in lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital would also be appreciated.
